In the framework of the project, measures to protect Kentish plover nests have begun in all project areas across Italy. In the Duna Feniglia Natural State Reserve, five nests were identified, and steps were immediately taken to protect them by installing fencing and informational signs. CUFA staff and volunteers who participated in the first training course regularly monitor the area to collect data and provide accurate information to the public.
