The kick-off meeting for the LIFE ALEXANDRO project took place on February 16 and 17, 2026. On the first day, held in Marina di Massa, all the actions to be implemented were reviewed, and the project’s coordinating committees and working groups were established, along with the guidelines for proper expense reporting. The following day, a field visit took place in the Migliarino-San Rossore-Massaciuccoli Regional Park, where some concrete actions will be carried for the conservation of the Kentish plover and for the restoration of dune habitats.
